1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AusElectrical Tools ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. No Warranty

Calculators on this Site are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make reasonable efforts to ensure calculations reflect commonly accepted electrical engineering interpretations, but we do not warrant accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose.

3. Use at Your Own Risk

You use this Site and its calculators entirely at your own risk. Results must be independently verified by a suitably qualified electrical engineer or licensed electrician before being relied upon for any design, installation or safety-critical decision.

4. Not a Substitute for Professional Advice

This Site does not establish a professional engineering or electrical contracting relationship. Nothing on this Site constitutes formal engineering advice, a certified design, or a substitute for engagement of a licensed professional.

5. Standards Currency & References

Calculators are developed with reference to Australian Standards including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008.1, AS/NZS 1359 and others. We do not reproduce copyrighted Standards Australia tables or clauses. Methodologies are derived from lawful, publicly available interpretations of electrical engineering principles. Always consult the current version of the relevant standard for compliance purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AusElectrical Tools and its operator will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, this Site or its calculators.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010) that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Errors & Availability

We do not guarantee the Site will be available at all times or free from errors. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site without notice.

9. Intellectual Property

The Site design, calculators, content and branding are the intellectual property of AusElectrical Tools unless otherwise noted. Underlying electrical engineering formulas are not proprietary and are not claimed as original.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
